Days Of Future Past’ To Rule Memorial Day Weekend With $100 Million
i want to see an X men Days of Future Past having the actors from original trilogy and bringing new characters It sounds like the cast of X-Men Days of Future Past had a seriously long day Saturday, May 4th!
Speaking of hateful madmen, Michael Fassbender’s Magneto is a serious jerk. He’s also masterfully played and, like Trask, is a subtle and layered character who is reacting to a world that is spinning out of control. The interplay between he and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier is enthralling, because when they finally do face each other neither character really has a leg to stand on. That was an unintentional Professor X joke, but I’m going to run with it. That was another one.
But the most important thing that makes this movie great is that Bryan Singer loves this franchise and more than making a great blockbuster, he wanted to make a great movie relying on the characters. He was convinced of making the best movie ever and even if it is not the case, I felt it, so despite all is defaults, X-MEN DAYS OF THE FUTURE PAST is a great movie, maybe, one of the best super-hero movies ever made. Charlize Theron as Emma Frost / White Queen ( she's better than January Jones and for present, future ) Simon Kinberg discusses the impact of the "Days of Future Past" post-credits sequence; Gareth Edwards to direct "Star Wars" spinoff and more. Ian Somerhalder as Alex Summers / Havoki ( Present, Future after young Alex / Havok, Lucas Till )
Slate's Dana Steven writes that in addition to the "luxuriant excess of its cast," "'Days of Future Past' lays on the abundance visually and technologically as well. Shot in deep, crisp 3-D, with loads of super slow-motion battles and shape-shifting transformations, it's maximalist Hollywood filmmaking at its best, the kind of extravagant production that, like a Wagner opera, can sweep you up in a sense of mythic grandeur even as you struggle to follow what's going on."
