Year Anniversary Of Michael Jackson’s Death With Specials On June 25
Four years after the tragic death of global superstar and troubled singer Michael Jackson, it's hard to say if anyone has truly claimed his throne as King of Pop. But that hasn't stopped today's music stars from trying.
Cardiologist Conrad Murray joined Jackson's camp in May 2009 as part of Jackson's agreement with AEG Live , the promoter of his London concerts Murray first met Jackson in Las Vegas when the doctor treated one of the singer’s children. AEG Live said the singer insisted the company hire Murray to accompany him to England. 52 During Murray’s trial it emerged that AEG employed the doctor and that Jackson did not sign the contract for the above-cited employment either. 53
Michael was plagued by chronic insomnia, according to his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, who says he administered propofol (a powerful anesthetic) and the sedatives lorazepam (Ativan) and midazolam (Versed) to the singer at his request. On June 25, 2009, Michael Jackson died of apparent cardiac arrest. On August 24, 2009, the Los Angeles County coroner ruled Michael Jackson’s death a homicide after forensic tests indicated a lethal presence of propofol and at least two other sedatives. Dr. Murray is now the subject of a manslaughter investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.
In 2003, another 13-year old boy accused Michael of sexual abuse and the singer was charged with 7 counts of child molestation and 2 counts of administering an intoxicating agent. In the two years between the allegations and the trial, Michael was examined by a mental health professional who said that the singer was a regressed 10-year old child and did not fit the profile of a pedophile. Michael lost a great deal of weight during this time and reportedly became dependent on the prescription drug pethidine (Demerol). His 2005 trial lasted 5 months, ending in his acquittal on all charges. He retreated from public appearances and moved to the Gulf island of Bahrain as the guest of Sheikh Abdullah.
i know of people who have seen Michael Jackson He was prettymuch as RJO described, and i have seen a black limo and a silvermercedes around the shops i usually visit, which wasn't there before. Iagree with RJO's view that Michael may be hiding in Wisbech, as it would bea get away from all the limelight. Faking his own death would be a goodway to escape the publicity and hassle all us loving fans gave him, butwe musn't blame ourselves. I hope this is true, and that he is stillalive and safe in a palce he can now enjoy.
