Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal Or Rahul Gandhi
It's easy to describe Modi to people who have never heard him speak, or read about his past. He is a depressingly familiar type. During the 2002 Gujarat riots, hundreds of people (mostly Muslims) were killed in communal violence on Modi's watch.
Now, rebutting the claims of my opponent, I think the audience can very well view the propaganda instilled in Modi supporters, the first important thing mentioned was his carefully maintain and media propogated ‘personality’, not his achievements. There is no basis to the claims of Modi being frugal and achieving the rare feet of being introvert and ‘crowd puller as a speaker’ at the same time. I think we should also note that my opponent accepts that Modi is a hindu nationalist, when he talks about how he has tried to change his image to that of an ‘able administrator’.
The Congress Party, which freed India from British colonialism in 1947 and stood at the forefront of Indian politics for decades, suffered a massive defeat and is expected to win only 44 seats Modi’s victory is considered to mark widespread discontent with the Congress party’s focus on welfare as a means of improving living standards. As Nharika Mandhana wrote for the Wall Street Journal, “Mr. Modi tapped into the frustrations of a generation of Indians who climbed out of poverty in the past decade, but who have been prevented—by slowing growth and a lack of employment—from joining the middle classes.”
Sustaining such collaboration will require considerable dexterity on both sides. In New Delhi, it will require a willingness to engage with the United States on multiple fronts, including by proposing a robust agenda for diplomatic, strategic, and economic cooperation in the next U.S.-India Strategic Dialogue. In Washington, it will demand extraordinary personal outreach to a miffed Modi, given both his past encounter with U.S. policy and the larger American stakes in India’s success, not to mention the importance of promoting peace and prosperity within Southern Asia writ large. Thinking about India in strategic terms will be essential for the success of this endeavor.
Till 2007 I have responded to everyone to all questions asked. You can read it in print media, electronic media. Yes, in 2007 when UPA again tried to take all legal routes to drag me to court then I stopped talking as I didn't want it to influence the issue because of Supreme Court ruling. Has any other CM been grilled for 9 hours? SC has seen the tape as it ordered the questioning. I have been through all those hurdles and I am ready for it. Modi won't surrender to such false political intentions.
