The couple was apparently seen by Us Weekly's spies in Malibu together at the upscale sushi restaurant Nobu last weekend (I really feel like I need to put an exclamation point after every sentence if I'm writing in the Us Weekly style!), but it's curious what will happen when reality sets in for Munn that her boyfriend lives in Green Bay, Wis. For half of the year. And it's the cold half. Doubt you'll see a Kardashian there.
It seems dubious to take aim at Olivia Munn for arguably exploiting her own appearance in an business that often treats women as disposable decorative objects without criticizing the whole entertainment industry. Munn obviously always aspired to be something more than “Girl #1.” This is not to say that she is not one or two bombs away ( The Babymakers ?) from the D-list, but that is part of her charm. She worked her way up the chain gradually and by the skin of her teeth, without the benefit of connections or a trust fund.
Olivia Munn was born on July 2, 1980, in Oklahoma. Her parents divorced while she was still a toddler and Olivia was soon forced to adopt a nomadic existence after her mother married a man in the Air Force. Although the clan moved from base to base, Olivia spent the majority of her adolescence in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo, Japan. Olivia’s passion for the entertainment world has been in place virtually since childhood, and the would-be performer took her first steps toward a career in the spotlight by appearing in a number of local theater productions.
