Ed Sheeran opens up on a past relationship in “Don’t,” a song off his upcoming album x Debuted during his appearance on SNL back in May, the British singer croons over the breakup with pop singer Ellie Goulding. The two reportedly had a brief relationship, which ended quickly after Sheeran found out the blonde-haired songstress was cheating on him.
Ed Sheeran raised more than $1,600 (£1,000) for good causes over the weekend (05-06Apr14) as clothing he donated to a charity shop in his hometown sold out in just 30 minutes. The British singer cleared out his closet and donated his unwanted outfits to a number of charity shops in England, including the St Elizabeth Hospice store in his native Framlingham in Suffolk, England. The haul went on sale at the shop on Saturday (05Apr14) and fans queued from early in the morning to get their hands on Sheeran's clothes. The lot sold out in less than an hour and raised around $1,600.

Sheeran's paternal grandparents were Irish + and he was raised as a Roman Catholic + He sang in a local church choir from the age of four, learned guitar at a very young age, and began writing songs during his time at Thomas Mills High School + in Framlingham. His early childhood memories include listening to Van Morrison + on his trips to London with his parents and going to an intimate Damien Rice + gig in Ireland when he was eleven. He is a patron of the Youth Music Theatre UK. He was accepted at the National Youth Theatre + as a teenager.
