Jon Snow is assumed to be Eddard Stark's bastard. He shares his father's devotion to honor and tries to stay morally correct and upright, even when forced to make horrible decisions. The third season of “Game of Thrones” draws to a close tonight, and that means fans are already gearing up their questions about the future of the show, and about what’s ahead for the series of novels by George R.R. Speakeasy chatted with actor Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on the fantasy-adventure program, to get his take on the season that’s just wrapping up as well as what’s coming up next. We also posed some reader questions that came in via Twitter.
Game of Thrones” is at its best when it’s complicating our sympathies, whether it’s Dany cruelly crucifying slavemasters, the Hound exploiting weak farmers or the loathsome Joffrey dying in oddly poignant fashion. Her character found a great love that turned to heartbreak in Season 3, but in recent episodes, she found her strength again, even if it was driven partially by revenge. On Sunday, in one of her last moments, Ygritte told Jon they should have stayed in the cave, but Rose said her Wildling character doesn’t blame her former lover for how things turned out.
