UC Student Brogan Dulle Missing Since Early Sunday
A graduate of Turpin High School in Anderson Township, Dulle studied education at UC. He was a swim coach at MercyHealth Plex and Turpin Hills Swim Club. Earlier Monday, Dulle's family said it will not be organizing any additional volunteer search efforts until further notice because an extensive search area has been covered multiple times. Dulle's story attracted national media attention and a $25,000 reward, including $10,000 from UC President Santa Ono. Family members described Dulle's disappearance as surreal. Blackwell said search parties had extensively scanned the exterior of the building where the body was found and said the building had been secure. The body was discovered by the building's landlord. Blackwell said he was "pretty certain" that the body was that of Dulle, 21. A Dulle family spokeswoman released a statement later in the evening confirming that Brogan had been found deceased. Dulle's disappearance captured the attention of UC President Santa Ono who tweeted "Brogan Dulle is in my thoughts and prayers. We want him back home and at UC." Brogan. Brogan Dulle, 21, a Turpin High School graduate whose family lives in Anderson Township, went out Saturday night with two friends to The St. Clair bar on Calhoun Street and Mac's Pizza Pub on West McMillan St. Brogan's family is heartbroken by the loss of their beloved son and brother," Lewis said in a statement. "The family is overwhelmingly grateful for the love, prayers, support (and) time given by the Cincinnati community." He is described as 6 feet tall, 145 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes with eyeglasses. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants. A missing person report was filed Monday night.
Around 2 a.m. Sunday, Dulle went back to his apartment in the 100 block of East McMillan St., realized his cell phone was missing and presumably went back out to retrace his steps. He's not been seen since then. Cincinnati Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell and Hamilton County Coroner Dr. Lakshmi Sammarco spoke to the media outside the building, located on the corner of East McMillan Street and Highland Avenue, and said the death appeared to be self-inflicted.
